Equine Influenza, as it seems, is counting its days at the Delhi Race Club. The horses have started rolling out in the "rolling area" during the prescribed hours (morning and evening). Earlier, the horses were being given progressive roll within the stable premises.

The horses, who were kept off the track as a precautionary step after the last Delhi races held on October 23, are all set to retain their fitness. The general health of the horses has improved over the past week.

Earlier, the veterinarian had advised the trainers to give complete rest and it appeared that the advise has done wonders. No new case of dreaded disease has come into notice in the last week. Though, the horses are still being monitored closely by the club's veterinarians daily.

Since, the horses have been allowed to start roll out. Now, it is expected that after reviewing the health of the equines, the veterinarians will soon take a decision about the appearance of horses on the track.
