The Karnataka City Civil Court has passed an injunction on the operations of the website, Indianracing.in. The ex-parte order has been passed for infringing the copyright of the computer programs, complete electronic database and source codes pertaining to the website wwwindiarace.com. The website launched by the earlier staff of Indiarace—Mr Sharan Kumar, Mr Usman Rangeela, and Mr Sanjay Reddy—bears an identical look and feel in all its pages and programs. United Breweries (Known as the UB Group), along with IQ Bridge Ltd and Ideastreamz Consultants, earlier filed an injunction suit against the operators of Indianracing.in to stop the hosting, operating, managing and running the website, as it is in direct conflict and unfair competition with Indiarace.com. Indiarace.com is owned by the United Breweries (Holdings) Ltd. The Court has now passed the injunction restraining the operators of Indianracing.in from operating the Website.
