Ganga Melrose Million on Sunday

The Ganga Melrose Million, newly instituted by the RWITC as a juvenile million, makes its debut at Pune on Sunday.

First time sponsors Goel Ganga Developments and Gagan Developers will be presenting the race as well as the Goel Ganga Lifestyle Challenge, in which a unique prize is on offer to the members.

Mr Vivek Jain, Chairman, RWITC Marketing Group stated,` We are delighted that our new associates have not only contributed to a million race, but have raised the bar by offering a terrific prize, which is in synergy to our sport’’

The grand prize, reserved for RWITC members and guests, is a chance to win all-expenses paid trip to Dubai, to witness tThe Dubai World Cup in March 2008, the world's richest horse race and a giant lifestyle event. The prize includes return air fare, five star accommodation, limousine transfers, reserved grand stand seating, and entry to the International Village.

Mr Subhash Goel, Chairman, Goel Ganga Developments, stated, ``This is a first time association with racing and the RWITC. We are looking forward to the event and have done our best to bring a new dimension to the day.’’

In addition, members can enjoy the choicest cocktails and snacks with live music, on the lawns, while they watch the Sunday races.

The RWITC sponsorship initiative has seen a power packed August, kicking off with a wine fest, a Johnnie Walker weekend with celebrities, cocktails and entertainment on a grand scale, an Independence Day band and now this huge prize.
