Teofilo's withdrawal from the 2000 Guineas had shaken up the Bolfer
establishment. The trauma he was referring to was the commotion
generated by Teofilo's absence in the 2000 Guineas.

The Guineas was Finsceal Beo's sixth career start. It was her fourth win
and it was worth 198,730 pounds.
Arch Swing, an Irish-bred, took the runner-up berth. Simply Perfect was
third.
Finsceal Beo is by Mr Greely. Her dam is Musical Treat, a Royal Academy
mare.
Sixties Icon won the Jockey Club Stakes in decisive fashion, a
supporting event. Ridden by Frankie Dettori, Sixties Icon, the 2006 St
Leger Winner, was prominent during the 12-furlong race and hit the front
midstretch to win by three lengths. The time was 2.33.52.
"It was a good performance and he did it smoothly," said Jeremy Noseda,
the winning trainer. Sixties Icon's next target is the Coronation Cup at
Epsom Downs on June 1, English Oaks day.
