NEW DELHI SEASON TO HAVE INCREASED STAKE MONEY

The Delhi Racing Season for the year 2006-2007 will begin on the 8th of August 2006 and continue till the end of April 2007.  Delhi will witness 50 days of racing during this period.

The stake money has been increased for all class of horses especially for the 2 yrs/3 yrs old & Class I races which will carry a prize of Rs.1 lakh to the winner.

About 350 horses are expected to take part under the care of about 32 trainers.  The advertised stake money is Rs.4,03,8,200/- with cups & trophies valued at Rs.5,45,000/-.

The under mentioned Sweep Stakes races will be run during the winter season.
