EQUINE SEMINAR AT PUNE

February 8, 2005

The Indian Association of Equine Practitioners (IAEP) is organizing a two-day seminar on 8th and 9th of February 2005 under the aegis of the World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA).

The IAEP was founded in Pune in the latter half of 1993. The prime objective was to improve the health and welfare of equine population in India. It was also aimed at getting equine practitioners from all around the country to share a common platform. The idea being that an open exchange of information would result in improved standards of services to the equine industry. Another intended benefit was the enhancement of knowledge of equine practitioners in India through continuing education.

The present seminar will be conducted at the Turf Club House, Pune. WEVA has kindly sponsored four outstanding equine veterinarians to conduct the seminar.

They are :

1. Dr. Julie Fjeldborg

2. Dr. Tim Greet

3. Dr. D.P. Leadon

4. Dr. Mariann Klay

The seminar will be inaugurated at 9.00 a.m. on 8th February 2005 at Turf Club House, Pune.
