Full Speed's victory in last Saturday's Harvins Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Gr.2) was the result of a last minute change in tactics coupled with a brilliant ride from Silva Storai.

Full Speed (Silva Storai up), winning the Harvins Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Gr 2)

Where Silva scores over her colleagues is her ability to get the most out of her horses without having to use excessive physical force. This is due to the understanding she builds with her horses and Full Speed's run in the Bangalore 2000 Guineas is ample proof of this empathy.

For trainer Irfan Ghatala and owners Shailesh Shivaswamy, K. Ramesh, Prasad Reddy and D.P. Dinesh, Full Speed's win ended a nerve wracking period that started when the stable apprentice jockey, filling in for an injured Silva, was unable to justice to Full Speed and lost his lead up race. The team spirit in the stable is high and this helped them tide over the difficult period.

Full Speed was spot on in the 2000 Guineas and he received a top-drawer ride to show what a good horse he really is.
