Mr Pradyumna Singh, who was a senior stipendiary steward at the RWITC, will be joining the Hyderabad Race Club in the same capacity from October 1 this year. It is reported that Mr Singh opted for the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) introduced by the RWITC recently.

The 47-year-old Mr Singh stint as a racing official began when he joined the Delhi Race Club as a starter in November ’86 and later assumed charge as a stipendiary steward. Mr Singh moved to Western India in May ’89 and worked as an assistant to Mr Dady Adenwala. He was later promoted to the post of stipendiary steward during 91-92 Mumbai racing season. After the retirement of Mr Adenwala, Mr Singh became an additional senior stipe and was the senior stipe during the last Mumbai racing season.
