The Karnataka Race Horse Owners Association Trophy
will be run on the January 11, 2003. The race is restricted to three year old horses leased or
purchased in BTC auction sales or bred in Karnataka.
To commemorate the occasion the Managing Committee of the KROA has decided to host a lunch for all owners
who attend the races on that day. In addition to sponsoring the trophy and the prize money for the race
the KROA has also decided to sponsor the trophies to be given to the owner and trainer of the best turned
out horse which will be judged by an expert panel constituted for the purpose.
To promote and popularise the event and also to ensure a large participation from the public the KROA has
also proposed to gift a Washing Machine to the person who nominates the horses finishing first to fourth in
that order by purchasing tickets of the exacta pool in the aforesaid race. The person who finishes as a
runner up will be eligible to complimentary cocktails and dinner for six people at "L’ attitude " the new
state of the art Bar and Restaurant situated at Shringar Shopping Centre, M.G.Road, Bangalore. In case
there is more than one winner of the exacta pool the winner of the aforesaid will be chosen by draw of
lots.
